The Ruby Revue Burlesque Show is run by some talented ladies,
Elisa and Ginger Valentine.
I had been coming to the shows, but being backstage has confirmed what I had been witnessing. The Ruby Revue Burlesque Show is well run and a fun cast to boot. Thank you girls for inviting me to perform. This was a great show to send me off to Europe! Ben Britt took some really amazing photos. Here’s some below, but there are more in the gallery.

I’m back for the next Ruby Revue HOB show : Dallas’ Most Wanted.
Ruby Revue presents Dallas’ Most Wanted : featuring Cabaret Singer, Mandy Lauderdale, Ginger Valentine, Angi B. Lovely, Elisa, Honey Cocoa, Melissa Meaow, Lily Wilde and ME! Live music by Chic Ramirez (who use to play at Jack Ruby’s club) and the Double Exposure. Hosted by Galaxy Dares.

Show starts at 9:30pm, doors open at 8:00pm. I would get there early if you want a seat!! You can buy you tickets online or get them at willcall (to avoid paying ticketmaster fees).

For those who are curious, I’ve been taking a hiatus from burlesque for a mix of reasons.
My dad got in a really bad car accident and I wanted to free my time up so I could be able to go visit him whenever I wanted. Also, I’ve been planning a 2 monthish trip to Europe and needed to save all the money I could. This will be my last burlesque show before I leave for Europe, so come see me off!

Snow Day!

I made myself a burlesque snowwoman!
Its been constantly snowing since early this morning and we have more than 4″ of snow here in Dallas, such a rare occurrence.

Bewitching Burlesque Auditions

Bewitching Burlesque is having auditions again for their 70’s show.

Auditions will be held at The Plaza Arts Center between 7pm-10pm.
(1115 Fourth Avenue, Carrollton, TX)

Wow, Thanks to everyone that came out to Dallas Dr. Sketchy’s last Saturday!
I had so much fun being a model. I want to thank Lisa Lindholm and John Gonzales (who is the official Dallas Art Cheerleader on pushing creative people to DO SOMETHING) for putting on a great event. Be sure to join the Dr. Sketchy’s fan page or keep tabs on the blog to keep up when the next one happens.

Since it was the Sweetheart Valentines Bullshit edition, I decided to do two looks; the first was very sweet and candy-like love, the second more dark and angry (complete with eye patch). Sort of a before and after relationship. Here’s some pics, but there are more in the gallery to check out, including more art. Yay art!

Dallas Dr. Sketchy’s is BACK! And I’m the first model!
The theme is Sweetheart Valentines Bullshit edition and there is some awesome prizes!

The grand prize will be 2 tickets to the Dallas Burlesque Festival for the night of February 6!!! As usual, there will be plenty of drawing, prizes, and of course, drinks. Tickets are on sale now for $10. Arrive early if you would like a table. 4pm-7pm.
